Another Favorite Antique Rose

This is the Sweet Pea Rose that I bought 10 years ago from the Antique Rose Emporium in San Antonio, TX.  At the time, I needed a container rose (it's a compact rose) because I knew we would be moving soon.  Since then, it has survived more than one drought just fine with very little supplemental watering.

This fall I transplanted the rose to the other side of our yard.  We were ab out to put in raised flower beds next to the house and I knew it would get damaged in the process.  I was so nervous about transplanting an established rose but it has done fine.  In fact today I noticed quite a few new blooms.  Oh, and did I mention that it smells wonderful!  I love this rose!
